Integration & Yield Manager | Compound Semiconductors | SC-eligible (UK passport holder or ILR)

Role overview:
Lead and scale process integration and yield activities across advanced compound semiconductor technologies. Drive improvements in new process development, production readiness, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-performance, high-reliability semiconductor products.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead process integration and yield improvement initiatives for semiconductor manufacturing.

  • Manage engineering trials, gate-stage reviews, and production data analysis.

  • Track line/die yields, build Pareto analyses, and implement targeted yield improvements.

  • Collaborate with Device, Process, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.

  • Maintain departmental KPIs, budgets, and cost control while promoting lean practices.

  • Ensure environmental compliance, safety, and regulatory adherence.

  • Support EH&S, COSHH, incident investigations, and ISO audits.

  • Mentor and develop a skilled, motivated engineering team.

Required skills & experience:

  • Proven semiconductor manufacturing experience across multiple process areas.

  • 2+ years of management experience, leading technical or manufacturing teams.

  • Expertise in yield engineering, process integration, and SPC/DOE/FMEA.

  • Experience in high-reliability, quality-driven production environments.

  • Ability to lead change control and drive cross-functional process improvement.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Understanding of III–V, II–V, or II–VI compound semiconductor technologies.

Desirable experience:

  • Cross-functional team leadership in high-tech manufacturing.

  • Experience with environmental compliance and EHS reporting.

  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 audits.

Tools & methods:

  • Statistical process control (SPC), DOE, and FMEA.

  • Change control and quality management systems.

  • Environmental, Health & Safety compliance tools.
