Senior Product Portfolio Manager – Power Semiconductors
Role overview:
Lead the development and release of next-generation power semiconductor portfolios, including advanced GaN and SiC wide-bandgap technologies. This role provides full technical ownership of product engineering, project management of operations, and end-to-end responsibility for product portfolios, from characterisation and yield improvement to process control and production release.
Key responsibilities:

Manage projects and products across the compound semiconductor portfolio.

Lead the product engineering team and collaborate with technology and product development teams to deliver manufacturing-ready devices.

Characterise new product performance ahead of production release.
-
Develop and maintain engineering databases for device characterisation and production tracking.
-
Establish and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems for production products.
-
Manage wafer sort and final test disposition processes.
-
Drive yield enhancement and support failure analysis activities.
-
Support new product introduction (NPI) and transfer from development to volume production.
-
Manage change control for products in production.
-
Work with reliability and quality teams to analyze RMA customer returns and implement corrective actions.
Required skills & experience:
-
Very strong project and product management skills.
-
Minimum 10 years’ experience in power semiconductor engineering, ideally across silicon and wide-bandgap (SiC/GaN) devices.

In-depth understanding of the semiconductor product lifecycle, including device characterization, qualification, production release, and sustenance.

Strong analytical skills for evaluating and characterizing power semiconductor devices.

Background in yield analysis and circuit debugging.

Logical, data-driven problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, with experience leading cross-functional and international project teams.
Desirable experience:

Six Sigma quality practices.

Exposure to wide-bandgap semiconductor product introductions.

Salary: £170,000 + benefits
