Product Engineer – Relocation and visa support available

The Opportunity

Our client is an established semiconductor manufacturer with a strong track record in discrete power devices. The Glasgow wafer fab is at an exciting point, with significant ongoing investment positioning the site as a dedicated MOSFET product and development hub. As Product Engineer within the Technology Development team, you’ll own new product introduction from first silicon through to production release, a role with clear scope and real commercial impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

• New product introduction — manage the full NPI cycle from first silicon to production release, keeping qualifications on schedule
• Data analysis — analyse device, yield and reliability data to diagnose issues quickly and understand root cause
• DOE and experimentation — interface with Integration, Process Engineering and Production to plan and manage experiments requested by the TD and Product teams
• Global collaboration — work directly with the Power MOSFET Business Unit R&D team and interface with assembly and test sites to manage backend processing and test
• Technical reporting — produce clear, accurate analysis and reporting throughout the product lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline (postgraduate preferred)
• Knowledge of power semiconductor structures and test
• Experience analysing device, yield or reliability data
• Familiarity with wafer test, reliability testing or backend assembly processes a plus
• Experience with statistical analysis tools such as JMP a plus
• Comfortable working in a wafer fab or cleanroom environment
• Willingness to travel internationally to support product development and transfer
