Process Development Engineer
The Opportunity
Our client is an established semiconductor manufacturer with a strong track record in discrete power devices. The wafer fab is at an exciting point, with significant ongoing investment. You’ll be joining a business dedicated to creating and developing a leading MOSFET product and development hub.
As Process Development Engineer within the technology development team, you’ll have real ownership of key process modules and direct influence over how the site performs and evolves.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process module development — define and develop modules across patterning, etching, deposition and metrology to hit performance and reliability targets
- Process optimisation — refine parameters to improve yield, manufacturability and reliability
- DOE — plan and execute structured experiments to validate process improvements
- Data analysis — work across fab, wafer test and sort data to identify trends and opportunities
- Defect and failure analysis — investigate root causes of process deviations and drive corrective actions
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline (postgraduate preferred)
- Solid understanding of semiconductor process technology and device physics
- Hands-on experience defining and optimising process modules
- Familiarity with DOE and statistical analysis tools
