As we undergo a transformative journey toward electrification, we’re seeking an adept Technical Specialist / Lead Engineer in power electronics hardware to guide our efforts in this pivotal field.

Skills required:

• Strong analytical & communication skills
• 10 yrs’ relevant exp., preferably automotive
• Power Electronics Design expertise, incl. Inverters & “Design for Manufacture”
• Knowledge of power electronic components: IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC/GaN tech
• Compliance with IEC 61508/ISO 26262
• Proficiency in relevant CAD/CAE tools
• Collaboration in power electronics teams
• RA/SSOW familiarity in high-voltage environments
• Track record of achievements

Background on the role:

• Lead power electronics hardware design
• Analyze stakeholder requirements
• Design power electronics systems: drives, converters, inverters
• Contribute to e-drive architecture
• Perform electrical & thermal analysis
• Develop internal R&D test equipment
• Create validation tests
• Validate key technologies
• Provide troubleshooting expertise
• Lead hardware DFMEA, support safety analysis.
• Ensure EMC/EMI compliance
• Manage supplier deliverables
