About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Automation Project Manager to lead exciting industrial automation projects. You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring everything runs smoothly—from design and development to commissioning and final acceptance. If you enjoy a mix of engineering, automation, and project management, this role offers both opportunity and growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead automation projects from design to completion

Develop and approve Functional Design Specifications (FDS)

Oversee electrical design, FAT, commissioning, and final acceptance testing

Ensure compliance with CE/UKCA Marking
-
Visit client sites as required
Key Skills & Experience
-
5+ years’ experience in automation or engineering
-
Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA, HMI, and electrical design
-
Experience in conveyors, robotics, and automotive automation
-
Leadership, scheduling, and risk management skills
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD
