Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electronic hardware design process, from concept through to production, including schematic capture and PCB layout
- Develop high-performance embedded systems, integrating microprocessors, microcontrollers, and high-speed communication interfaces
- Optimize FPGA and AI-driven GPU architectures for real-time signal processing
- Engineer low-power, high-efficiency power supply systems for mobile and industrial applications
- Ensure EMC compliance and apply DFM & DFT best practices for manufacturing and testing readiness
- Conduct hardware prototyping, debugging, and verification, including risk assessment using DFMEA
- Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to define test requirements and system-level integration
- Work closely with stakeholders and customers to refine product specifications and participate in pilot testing
- Innovate in electromagnetic tomography and super-sensing technologies, enhancing sensor performance and AI-driven analytics
- Contribute to agile R&D projects, with potential growth into a SCRUM Master role
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in electronics design, from PCB layout to full product development
- Expertise in microprocessor and microcontroller-based systems, including high-speed communication interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Profibus)
- Proven knowledge of high-speed digital design and memory subsystems (DDR, NAND, eMMC)
- Experience in FPGA development and AI-enabled GPUs for real-time applications
- Understanding of EMC design principles, compliance testing, and regulatory standards
- Background in power supply design for low-power, mobile, and high-performance environments
- Proficiency in hardware risk assessment and mitigation (DFMEA)
- Ability to work effectively in a SCRUM-driven R&D environment, collaborating across teams
Desirable Skills
- Experience in tomographic and imaging systems (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, or similar technologies)
- Knowledge of electromagnetic sensing & tomography (ECT, EIT, ERT, MIT, CIFT)
- Understanding of machine learning and AI-driven signal processing for hardware applications
- Background in hardware development for digital twin and industrial automation solutions
- Experience working with subcontractors and managing complex hardware projects
